I thought I would give an update of what Olivia has been doing these days.

She wiggles out of her pajamas at night.

She smiles.

She listens to her Dad play the guitar.

She takes baths.

She goes to church.

And she plays (more like eats) with her rattle.

Update

I thought I would write an update about Olivia, how she is doing, and her recent happenings. A couple weeks ago Olivia had her 2 month checkup and she weighed 10 lbs, 14 oz and was 22 inches long. She had to get three shots, which was no fun for all involved (especially Olivia since she actually got the shots). She has started to smile and coo a lot. She is also lifting herself up

with her arms when on her tummy. I think it's pretty cute if I do say so myself. But don't take my word for it, see for yourself. . .

Olivia's Blessing Day

Olivia was blessed a couple of weeks ago. Johnathan gave a wonderful blessing and we wish everyone could have been there. But, since most of you couldn't, please enjoy these pictures documenting the event.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Olivia is 4 weeks today. Everything is going well and Olivia is doing great. Here are some pictures of the little lady throughout the last month.

Baby Olivia

Meet the newest member of the Kingsley Clan; Olivia Jane Kingsley. She was born January 7th at 4:57 pm. I was a week overdue so I was induced at around 7 that morning. She was 6 lbs 12 ounces, measuring in at 19 inches long. Overall, everything went really well with the labor. I lasted a few hours without an epidural, but let's face it, I'm a wimp and have a low tolerance for pain. Once I was 9 cm dilated, the progress stopped. Olivia was in a posterior position and was stuck there. The doctor came in and moved her and I immediately dilated to 10. I was pushing 2 to 3 hours and once again Olivia halted the progress by moving back in a posterior position. The doctor moved her again and things moved along. During the last part of labor I spiked a fever of 104 and needed antibiotics. In addition to that, I vomited twice while pushing, which didn't make pushing a human being out of me any easier. Eventually the doctor used forceps to help Olivia out because he was worried my fever would affect her. She was born with a little fever and was put on antibiotics right after being born, but everything was and is fine with her now. So that's my birthing story and here are pictures to prove I actually gave birth and now have a child.

Well, the little lady still hasn't come and I was due on the 1st. I just went to the doctor and he wants to induce me tomorrow. Wish me luck, I'm gonna need it. . .
